FUGA, INC. MULTIPLE OPENINGS

Position:

Pilot – First Officer


Locations: 

Bend, Oregon* (headquarters)

*must be willing to move to locations in Tampa, Florida and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. as needed

Duties:

Operationally responsible to Pilot in Command (PIC) on all flights. Notify captain of questions or concerns related to flight safety. Assume authority to act on behalf of PIC when PIC is incapacitated. Maintain knowledge of duties and responsibilities of PIC. Audit flight and duty time records for accuracy. Maintain accurate and in depth knowledge of General Operations Manual, Company Manual, Federal Aviation Administration Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other instructions pertinent to assigned duties. 13 days off per quarter, as required by law.


Travel:

As a pilot, this position requires 80% domestic travel to locations throughout the United States, and 20% international travel. 

Experience:

2 years of international flight experience (can be a combination of experience as a PIC and SIC)


Licensure/Certificates:

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot License or FAA Commercial Pilot License with Certification Training Program (ATP/CTP) with ATP written completed

• First Class FAA Medical Certificate

• CAE certificate, or FlightSafety Training Certificate

• FCC License


Skills/Requirements: 

1) 1000 hours of flying Gulfstream G-IV, King Air 200 series, or Learjet LR 35 or equivalent model as a Pilot (can be a combination of PIC and SIC)

2) 2,000 total flight hours (can be a combination of PIC, SIC, and FSTD)


To be completed upon hire:

3) Must be able to pass PRIA background check (no FAA accidents, incidents, and violations)

4) Must pass psychological examination

5) Part 135 Proficiency Card valid within the previous two years, issued by CAE Simuflite or FlightSafety International

Air Fuga is a worldwide Part 135 Air Carrier with corporate offices in Bend, Oregon and St. Petersburg, FL. We currently have an immediate opening for a Director of Charter Sales executive based at our Bend office.
 

Job Description:

Oversee the Charter Sales/Flight Coordination department for a sales driven Worldwide Part 135 Air Carrier. Maintain and oversee the day-to-day operations of quoting, scheduling, coordinating and flight following department and personnel.
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Quote and Process Sales leads for on-demand charter - Understanding aircraft specifics; range and flight requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retail clients, brokers, and aircraft owners.
  • Night/Weekend On-Call Shifts required, alternating with other members of the department team.
  • Oversee the Flight Coordinating: with knowledge in airports, FBOs, NOTAMS, weather, FARs (block and max duty day), transportation and crew accommodations and flight releases.
  • Oversee the charter sales team duties and responsibilities - including schedule, training & reviews.
  • Communicate with DOO, CP and DOM to forecast and plan mx and crew training.
     

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4 years MINIMUM of prior Part 135 flight following and sales experience working with Charter Brokers and Retail Clients.
  • Knowledge of pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations under Part 91 and Part 135.
  • Computer savvy and knowledge in quoting software.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with an ability to get along and be pleasant to a wide range of personalities.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule primarily on-site with occasional remote access.
  • This is a department lead position and you must have the ability to train less experienced personnel.
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment.
  • Full understanding of aircraft movement and coordinating.

This is a PIC position in PC 12-45 aircraft. First consideration given to candidates with PC 12 time, Part 135 time and overall experience.  
 

Fuga is a worldwide air carrier with vertical opportunities into jet fleet aircraft.


Minimum requirements:

  • 1700TT with 150 hours in type (PC12-45 or 47NG), or;
  • 2500TT with 100 hours in type
  • 5000TT with 99 hours in type or less
  • Second Class Medical
  • Clean record 


Salary offer: Candidate with 150 hours in type = $100k-$125k for first year depending on experience. Major medical included.
